Web Tips and Guidelines
Do keep you pages simple. Don't make them unnecessarily complicated.
Do make them load fast. For most pages, shoot for 15 second if possible and no longer than 30 seconds on a 28.8 modem.
Do target your audience. Provide them with information and service of value.
Do present your site in a professional and organized manner. This means explaining the reason for your site, providing navigation and clear design.
Don't use large graphics and multimedia clips for no reason. Believe us, people do not want to wait 2 minutes to see a picture of your dog, or hear the audio clip you stole from the Simpsons. If you provide something of true value, people may wait for it.
Do not start your site with pages requiring plug-ins or the latest browser. Do provide links and options to help visitors view you pages.
Don't post a "List O Links", which is an unorganized list of unrelated links. Do provide original organized content.
Don't ever send spam to a person or business. Spam includes sending unsolicited e-mail, incorrect Newsgroups postings and improper submissions to search engines.
