makes an average of one Latino film each year. This is despite
the fact that Latino films with universal themes and likable
lead characters have consistently made millions of dollars
for Hollywood. People have been calling on Hollywood for
years to change its practices. However, Latinos have been
left standing outside the gates of Hollywood with their
protests being met with empty promises. The
Premiere Weekend Club is planning to flood the theaters
nationwide with over one million moviegoers on opening weekend,
in support of any positive Latino film. Through the strength
in numbers, Hollywood will see the large profits to be made
and will be forced to change.
